Spot funds for Ethereum are experiencing a crisis, with capital outflows over eight consecutive trading sessions. From September 29 to October 8, approximately $641.3 million was withdrawn from ETH ETF funds, including $72.54 million on October 8. The largest outflow occurred on October 6, when $201.90 million was withdrawn from the ETFs. The longest streak of outflows in history lasted 17 days, ending in early June, when a total of approximately $708 million was withdrawn from the funds. Despite the difficult situation, following the peak outflows on October 6, their value began to decline in subsequent sessions. On October 8, four funds recorded outflows, including BlackRock ETHA, which lost $71.1 million. The Friday session could be crucial for the market, determining the further direction of the trend.
