Davie Discusses the Impact of SEC's New Crypto Regulations on the Market
According to Twitter user Davie, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins announced that the agency will continue to advance regulations on cryptocurrencies and digital securities, planning to introduce more rules to ensure that the digital asset market remains in the United States. The SEC's proposed regulatory framework for crypto asset custody aims to update rules from 1940 and build a comprehensive regulatory system for crypto assets, including Regulation Crypto Assets and Innovation Exemption. The latter will establish a five-year sandbox allowing trading of U.S. stocks on decentralized exchanges and liquidity providers. Davie believes that this regulatory change is favorable for the mid-term outlook on cryptocurrencies, especially in the asset securitization track of traditional finance going on-chain, and suggests paying attention to projects like ONDO and LINK. Additionally, ETH and SOL, as leading public chains, will benefit from asset securitization.
