Anthropic Partners with Accenture to Launch Embedded Evaluation Program

By: www.anthropic.com|2026/09/19 02:28:32

Anthropic has officially launched the "Embedded Evaluation" program, with Accenture's AI company Faculty entering Anthropic to conduct model assessments and red team testing. Evaluators will receive near-employee access, allowing them to view the model training process and development decisions, and communicate directly with internal staff. Both parties will invest at least $1 billion each over the next five years to build evaluation capabilities. Anthropic acknowledges the current lack of unified rules in the industry, with discussions ongoing regarding the evaluators' permissions, the public disclosure of results, and funding sources; currently, evaluation costs are directly covered by Anthropic. Accenture is a long-term strategic partner of Anthropic and has established the Anthropic Business Group, training approximately 30,000 people to use Claude. One of the minimum conditions proposed by the AI Evaluator Forum is that evaluation agencies should not have significant commercial ties with the evaluated companies. In the future, Anthropic will also introduce other evaluation agencies and engage in pilot negotiations with non-profit organizations such as METR.
