Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee Allows MHP to Acquire Agrol Assets in Lviv Region
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has granted the agricultural holding MHP, owned by Yuriy Kosyuk, permission to take control of LLC "Agrol Plus," enabling the completion of the deal to acquire processing assets of the poultry producer in the Lviv region. The transaction amount is at least 5,000,000 USD. The agreements involve the purchase of a facility for slaughtering and processing poultry, while the poultry houses remain with the previous owners. "Agrol" is owned by Yuliya Shopskaya and has been operating since 2000, with two poultry farms capable of processing over 3.5 million birds per year. The acquisition of these assets will strengthen MHP's infrastructure in the western region of Ukraine, where the group manages about 350,000 hectares of land across 12 regions and exports products to more than 80 countries. In the first half of 2026, MHP's revenue increased by 31% to 1,022,000,000 USD; however, the company reported a net loss of 85,000,000 USD.
