ARCA Expands the Obligation to Issue Electronic Receipts

The Revenue and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) expands the obligation to issue original electronic receipts, replacing printed invoices, according to General Resolution 5893/2026 published in the Official Bulletin. The regulation, signed by Andrés Vázquez, modifies General Resolutions 100, 4290, 4291, and 5866, and extends electronic invoicing to taxpayers not subject to VAT, those adhering to the Simplified Regime for Small Taxpayers (RS), and small taxpayers registered in the National Register of Local Development and Social Economy Effectors. The aim is to achieve greater traceability and transparency in operations, aligning with General Resolution 5866, which limited exceptions to the obligation to issue receipts.
