Activation of Solana Beta Mainnet Transaction V1 Delayed to Epoch 1035
The Solana core development team, Anza, announced that the activation time for Beta Mainnet Transaction V1 has been rescheduled to Epoch 1035, expected to begin at 9:20 AM Beijing time on September 15. Due to feedback from various parties in the ecosystem needing more time for testing and integration, the decision to postpone was made. Anza reminds that V1 is already live on devnet and needs to be tested as soon as possible. The computational budget for V1 must be set through new transaction configuration settings; the old compute budget instructions remain valid in legacy and V0 but are no-ops in V1. Even if there are no plans to send V1 transactions, some changes may still affect applications.
