The non-profit organization Ethereum Institutional has been announced, positioned as the "institutional-level unified entry point" for the Ethereum ecosystem, focusing on connecting large financial institutions worldwide with the Ethereum network, and promoting the institutional adoption of on-chain financial infrastructure. The organization has received funding support from investors including Bitmine, Sharplink, and Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin.
Ethereum Institutional states that its core goal is to provide a "trustworthy and neutral interface" during the critical window for accelerating the layout of tokenized assets, stablecoins, and on-chain market infrastructure in global financial institutions, helping institutions connect with the Ethereum ecosystem throughout the entire process from evaluation and testing to large-scale deployment.
