Pentagon Establishes New Technology Disruption Agency TSO
The Pentagon is forming a new technology disruption agency—the Technology Support Office (TSO)—aimed at secretly interfering with and sabotaging foreign technology projects deemed threats to U.S. military superiority. Since its establishment in April of this year, there has been little public information about the agency, and relevant details are hard to find on the Pentagon's website. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and other senior officials have not mentioned the agency, which is particularly striking in a department that is actively promoting military modernization and adopting a tough stance against foreign adversaries.
