Liquid Network Bitcoin Reserves Fully Restored, LBTC Supports 1:1 BTC
Liquid Federation has announced that the network's Bitcoin reserves have been fully restored, with all LBTC now backed 1:1 by BTC. In recent weeks, the exchange between BTC and LBTC has resumed, allowing users to transfer between Bitcoin and Liquid at a 1:1 ratio through participating providers. Liquid stated that these milestones mark significant progress in the restoration efforts. The network's Bitcoin reserves can be independently verified, and users running Liquid nodes can directly verify the reserve proofs. The reserve balances and network activity can be monitored through the official public dashboard. In the future, Liquid Federation will advance the modernization of its governance structure, clarify responsibilities and oversight, and implement more technical and operational safeguards.
