Google Play Supports Users to Privately Publish AI-Generated Apps
Google has announced that users can generate Android applications through Google AI Studio and privately publish them on Google Play using a regular Google account for personal use, without the need for programming experience. These applications will not appear in the Play Store search and listings, and only the creator will have access to them, while adhering to existing Google Play policies. This feature is initially available to users aged 18 and above in the United States. Google plans to support sharing the applications with a small circle of friends and family in the coming months, and after gaining popularity, they can be officially listed on the Play Store following trust and safety reviews.
