Four Departments Promote Integration and Innovation of Blockchain and Internet Infrastructure Resources

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and three other departments have issued guidelines on promoting the high-quality development of internet infrastructure resources. The guidelines emphasize strengthening the planning of technological innovation in the internet sector and implementing key national research and development programs and major technological projects. They propose to enhance original technological innovation and carry out integrated innovation efforts in technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and distributed identifiers with internet infrastructure resources, aiming to break through key technologies in network dynamic optimization, intelligent resource scheduling, and secure data interaction. Additionally, the guidelines call for strengthening innovation in the IPv6 technology system to address issues of protocol compatibility and high-performance transmission, as well as to overcome key technologies related to the networking of large satellite internet constellations, rapid routing switching, reliable transmission resistance to interference, and the large-scale deployment of resource public key infrastructure.
