CoinShares released its financial report for the first half of 2026, showing total revenue of $51.44 million, a year-on-year decrease of 35.7%. The average assets under management (AUM) fell to $5.52 billion, primarily due to the decline in digital asset prices. Segment EBITDA was $21.64 million, with a profit margin of approximately 42%; operating loss was $5.11 million, and GAAP net loss was $23.90 million, which included a non-cash loss of $15.40 million from treasury digital assets and a loss of $16.60 million from XBT pricing differences. Net assets were approximately $453 million, with no long-term debt. As of June 30, AUM decreased from $7.4 billion at the end of 2025, mainly due to falling market prices. In the first half of the year, the group's overall net inflow was $27.60 million, with CoinShares Physical platform seeing a net inflow of $155.90 million, while the CoinShares XBT Provider old platform experienced a net outflow of $104.70 million. After the half-year reporting period, as of August 31, AUM had rebounded to approximately $6.93 billion, and the treasury digital assets' year-to-date loss narrowed to about $3.56 million. The company's board plans to seek authorization for a stock buyback program at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting on September 15.
