AMC CEO Criticizes Robinhood's Stock Token Impact on Capital Structure
AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron has once again criticized Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev and Chief Legal Officer Dan Gallagher, stating that AMC does not agree with Robinhood's launch of AMC stock tokens in the United States. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has required Robinhood to obtain AMC's consent, or else they should cease related actions. Aron pointed out that the tokens in question are false, synthetic stocks that could affect AMC's capital structure, emphasizing that AMC should control its own financial destiny, rather than Robinhood.
