Zaporizhzhia Energy Workers Restore Power Networks Under Military Protection
Repair crews from "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo" are restoring power networks under constant shelling from Russia, thanks to the protection of the Defense Forces. The company's head, Andriy Stasevskyi, reported that during work in Orekhovshchyna, the crew was attacked by an enemy drone. The specialists were in a lift and could not evacuate quickly. Military defenders successfully shot down the drone, allowing the energy workers to continue their work and restore power supply for 5,500 consumers in the Orekhov district. Additionally, colleagues from the Zaporizhzhia RSC restored electricity to over 3,000 families in Kushuhum and Balabino. Stasevskyi noted that since the beginning of summer, this is already the fifth case where the military has saved the lives of "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo" workers. In many frontline areas, carrying out work without military cover is impossible, highlighting the importance of protection from the Armed Forces of Ukraine for restoring power networks and bringing light back to the homes of Ukrainians.
