WEEX AI Wars II Round 4 Recap: Humans Ruled the Leaderboard. How Did AI Tied the War?
TL;DR
- Round 4 (Sept 28–Oct 2) of WEEX AI Wars II is over — and Team AI has done it again, winning its second consecutive round.
- Team Human completely dominated the individual leaderboard, taking all 10 spots in the combined Top 10.
- But individual dominance wasn’t enough. Team AI won Round 4, following its comeback victory in Round 3.
- The season score is now 2:2: Humans won Rounds 1 and 2; AI answered with wins in Rounds 3 and 4.
- Only Round 5 remains. One round. One winner. Human or AI.

Round 4: Humans Dominated the Top 10. AI Won Anyway.
Round 3 looked like a plot twist. Round 4 suggests it may have been something more.
Human traders were once again untouchable at the top of the individual leaderboard. All ten positions in the combined Top 10 belonged to Team Human. The No.1 trader, 98***09, finished with an extraordinary +1,384.15% ROI, while 如果的如 followed at +1,089.69%. Third place, 71***79, recorded +595.57%, with fourth and fifth place reaching +523.14% and +357.10% respectively.
Even the human trader ranked tenth finished at +285.31% ROI.
Team AI looked almost restrained by comparison. FxProfessor AI led the AI leaderboard with +73.53% ROI, followed by 80***67 at +59.05%* and 惊蛰量化 at +47.47%. The tenth-ranked AI strategy returned just +3.46%.
Look only at the biggest winners, and there is no contest. Human traders produced far more explosive returns. The best human result was almost 19 times the ROI of the best AI strategy.
And yet, Team AI won Round 4.
AI Has Missed the Top 10 Twice — and Won Twice
That is now the most interesting pattern of AI Wars II.
In both Round 3 and Round 4, Team AI failed to place a single strategy in the combined Top 10. In both rounds, Team AI still won the overall team battle.
Round 4 makes the contrast especially visible. The human side produced enormous individual winners, while the AI Top 10 was far less spectacular. But all ten AI strategies shown on the leaderboard remained in positive territory, ranging from +73.53% to +3.46%.
The results suggest two very different approaches to the same market.
Humans have been better at producing outliers. AI has been better at avoiding the need for them.
Human trading in this competition has shown a much wider range of outcomes: aggressive decisions can create four-digit returns at the top of the leaderboard, but that same appetite for risk can also create greater dispersion across the team. AI strategies, by contrast, appear more conservative. Their upside has been dramatically lower, but their results have also been more stable.
That does not mean one approach is inherently superior. It means the competition is beginning to expose the trade-off between them.
Humans are winning the race for maximum return. AI is increasingly making a case for consistency.
And in a team competition, consistency matters.
From 2:0 to 2:2: The War Has Completely Reset
The trajectory of the season could hardly have been more dramatic.
Team Human won Round 1 and followed it with another victory in Round 2. At 2:0, the contest looked as though it might become a demonstration of how difficult it still is for machines to compete with human traders in a live market.
Then Round 3 changed the story.
Despite humans once again controlling the individual leaderboard, AI delivered its first team victory. It raised an obvious question: was this simply one unusual round, or had AI found an advantage in its more controlled approach?
Round 4 has made that question much harder to dismiss.
For the second consecutive round, humans produced the stars. For the second consecutive round, AI produced the team win.
2:0 has become 2:2.
Now neither side has an advantage.
Round 5 Will Decide Everything
There is only one battle left.
Round 5 runs October 5–9, with the final results scheduled for October 12. After four rounds, the competition has arrived at the cleanest possible finale: Human 2:2 AI.
For Team Human, the mission is no longer simply to put another trader at the top of the leaderboard. Humans have already proved they can generate extraordinary returns. The final challenge is whether that individual firepower can translate into a team victory when it matters most.
For Team AI, Round 5 offers the chance to complete a remarkable comeback. After falling behind 0:2, AI has won two consecutive rounds without putting a single strategy into the combined Top 10. One more win would turn that comeback into a 3:2 series victory.
And that makes the final round more than a race for the highest ROI.
It is becoming a live test of two very different trading philosophies: human conviction and risk-taking versus AI discipline and consistency.
One Round Left. Which Side Are You On?
You don’t have to be at the top of the leaderboard — or even place a single trade — to be part of the finale.
With the series tied 2:2, the final prediction is also the hardest one yet. Humans have dominated the individual leaderboard with explosive returns. AI has won two rounds in a row without a single strategy entering the combined Top 10, making consistency its strongest argument.
So who takes Round 5?
- Pick a side: Back Team Human or Team AI. Get the prediction right, and you can stack extra points on top of everything else you earn. After four rounds, are you betting on human firepower or AI consistency?
- Complete tasks, earn points: Daily check-ins, likes, social shares, and trading milestones all contribute to the task pool. You don’t need a four-digit ROI to participate — just get involved.
- Turn points into real rewards: Earn rewards worth up to 0.1 BTC, including BTC and ETH, WXT tokens, VIP experience, USDT trial funds, and more.
Whether you’re competing for the leaderboard or watching the Human vs. AI battle from the sidelines, Round 5 is the last chance to make your call.
