Tom Lee Warns That Banks' Slow Crypto Transformation May Lead to Cognitive Bias
In an interview, Tom Lee pointed out that about 99% of financial activities still rely on traditional financial infrastructure, a situation that may lead investors and businesses to underestimate the potential of cryptocurrencies. He believes that although traditional finance is dominant, this pattern may not necessarily persist in the long term. As financial activities gradually shift towards crypto infrastructure, institutions may underestimate the speed of changes in the industry. He cautioned that banks that have not established crypto business channels or related strategies may face competitive disadvantages as the adoption rate of cryptocurrencies increases.
