S-Energy Signs 7.2 Billion Won Solar Repowering Contract

S-Energy's Japanese subsidiary, S-Energy Japan, has commenced repowering work on a 33MW solar power plant in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The contract is valued at 794.7 million yen, which is approximately 7.2 billion won when converted at the current exchange rate. S-Energy announced that it signed the main contract with Kamei on the 31st of last month. The contract amount excludes Japan's consumption tax. This contract confirms the expected revenue from the repowering project in Japan that was disclosed in April. The Tojo Mega Solar Farm is a 33MW high-voltage solar power plant based on direct current, and S-Energy will be responsible for replacing the existing modules to improve performance. On-site construction began on the 1st of this month, with a scheduled completion date of October 31, 2027. Revenue from the construction will be recognized sequentially in S-Energy's consolidated results for 2026 and 2027, depending on the progress of the project. Kamei is a Japanese general trading company engaged in energy and construction-related businesses. S-Energy plans to recognize revenue in accordance with the progress of the project.
