RedotPay halts new card issuance for South Korean users
RedotPay has suspended all new card issuance for South Korean users. This includes both physical and virtual cards that can be linked to payment services like Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. Users attempting to apply for a card through the RedotPay app receive a notice stating, "Currently, card applications are temporarily unavailable in this region." Additionally, the company ended its affiliate program on Sept. 7, which involved partners and influencers in South Korea who assisted with card applications and referrals. RedotPay had previously suspended new physical card issuance for South Korean users in May last year before resuming it a few months later.
