Crusoe Signs Multi-Year Cloud Computing Agreement with Perplexity to Provide Nvidia Chip Computing Power

Crusoe has signed a multi-year cloud services agreement with Perplexity AI to provide computing power based on Nvidia chips and full-cycle technical hosting. Perplexity will use Crusoe's Nvidia chips to train and run models, and Crusoe will also provide Perplexity's Enterprise Max product to over 1,800 employees. Crusoe is known for large projects such as building the Stargate data center for OpenAI in Abilene, Texas, and is expanding its cloud business to compete with new cloud providers like CoreWeave and Nebius, having previously signed a cloud services agreement worth approximately $13 billion with Jane Street. Crusoe's cloud services are currently deployed in the United States, Iceland, and Norway, with plans to add Israel. Perplexity remains an important customer of mainstream clouds like AWS.
