OneKey Reduces Customer Data Retention to 30 Days

OneKey founder Yishi stated that following recent data breaches and supply chain attacks in the hardware wallet industry, OneKey is strengthening its security measures and confirms that no security incidents have occurred. OneKey has removed personal information such as customer names, email addresses, and shipping addresses from historical order records through the Shopify API, and has compressed the customer data retention limit to 30 days. Returns, warranties, and device verifications will no longer rely on long-term data retention. The retention policies of carriers such as FedEx and UPS are beyond OneKey's control. With customer consent, OneKey may retain privacy-processed email addresses solely for product updates and security patch notifications. OneKey's long-term goal is to migrate its e-commerce operations to its own infrastructure, reducing reliance on third-party platforms like Shopify.
