Morgan Stanley Predicts Tokenized RWA Market Could Reach $3 Trillion to $10 Trillion by 2030s
Morgan Stanley's head of digital asset strategy, Amy Oldenburg, stated that by 2030, the market for tokenized real-world assets (RWA) is expected to reach between $3 trillion and $10 trillion. She noted that growth momentum within the industry is mutually reinforcing, with current institutional investors showing increasing interest and participation in the sector, leading to a noticeable FOMO (fear of missing out) sentiment in the institutional market. Previously, Morgan Stanley had projected to begin supporting tokenized stock trading on its Alternative Trading System (ATS) in the first quarter of 2027, which is a delay from the previously announced plan for the second half of 2026.
