JPMorgan Expands Retail Banking Team for Crypto Assets
JPMorgan is expanding its team responsible for crypto assets and blockchain operations within its retail banking division, Chase. Previously, the bank's blockchain services were primarily aimed at corporate and institutional investors, and this expansion indicates that it is building a framework for the application of digital assets in personal finance. The new team will be responsible for developing digital asset strategies, collaborating with crypto asset companies, and creating new products, with commercialization methods including in-house development and external partnerships or acquisitions.
