Jack Yi: There Are Three Types of Successful People in the Crypto Industry, Investors and Contract Players Fail More Often Than They Succeed
Jack Yi, founder of Liquid Capital, pointed out in a post on platform X that successful individuals in the crypto industry can be mainly categorized into three types: The first type consists of investors who hoard Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB, including miners and mining pools, relying on time and compound interest for returns; the second type includes participants involved in trading infrastructure, such as quantitative arbitrage, exchanges, and stablecoins; the third type comprises project teams and market makers, who are involved in asset issuance and control. Jack Yi emphasized that the overall failure rate of investors and contract players is higher than their success rate, similar to hunters who must continuously strive to achieve gains while facing high risks and low compound returns.
