DIRECTV Argentina Accepts Payments with USDT and USDC
DIRECTV in Argentina allows DGO users to pay for their plans with USDT and USDC through Exodus Checkout. This integration enables users to settle their monthly subscriptions using these stablecoins. Payments can be made individually or as recurring subscriptions, starting the transfer from their personal wallet. Exodus highlighted that dollar stablecoins are gaining popularity in Latin America, especially in markets with currency volatility. Following the launch in Argentina, there are plans to extend the integration to Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, and Ecuador. A report by DeCard placed Argentina at the top of the Stablecoin Readiness Index with a score of 100/100, indicating a high usage of stablecoins due to the depreciation of the peso.
