Core Network Recovers Approximately 68.15 Million CORE After Hard Fork
The Core network has completed a hard fork recovery, reclaiming approximately 68.146 million CORE, related to a security incident involving around 97.05 million CORE. The recovery involved funds retrieved from three addresses controlled by attackers, with the team transferring the funds to a designated recovery address through a one-time state adjustment. No transactions were rolled back, no tokens were minted, and the total supply was not altered. Currently, the recovered funds have not yet been distributed to affected users, as the team is coordinating with exchanges and law enforcement to recover the remaining frozen assets and will establish a transparent distribution plan.
