British Couple Robbed at Home, Threatened with Knife to Transfer Cryptocurrency
In Smith's Wood, Birmingham, a young couple was the victim of a home invasion. On December 13, 2025, as they returned home, three men got out of a nearby vehicle and forcibly entered, demanding that the couple transfer a large amount of cryptocurrency, while a fourth person provided instructions via video call. The husband was beaten and seriously injured, and his pregnant wife was also threatened with a knife. After obtaining the cryptocurrency and several high-value watches, the attackers fled in a suspected black BMW X3. The police are currently offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
