Bitcoin Address Transfers 600 BTC Worth $51.6 Million
A Bitcoin address created on July 14, 2012, transferred all 600 BTC on Tuesday, valued at approximately $51.6 million based on the price at the time of transfer. This address had not seen any activity for nearly 14 years prior. The batch of BTC was initially valued at around $4,512 when Bitcoin was priced at about $7.52. The funds were moved from a traditional address to a SegWit P2WPKH format address, and were subsequently split into two new addresses, with on-chain records showing that they have not been sold.
