Aave Labs Proposal V4 Establishes Isolated Hub as Collateral for Stablecoin Lending
Aave Labs released an ARFC proposal on September 14, planning to deploy a new Aave V4 isolated Hub and Spoke, bringing institutional custody assets into the protocol as collateral for borrowing stablecoins. The first instance will be BTC held in custody by Anchorage, which will hold the underlying collateral throughout the loan period. The collateral ratio, liquidation penalties, supply and borrowing limits, interest rate models, and oracle configurations will be provided by DAO risk service providers in subsequent AIPs. The proposal must go through a three-step process of ARFC opinion solicitation, Snapshot voting, and AIP approval.
