On June 19, the Winklevoss brothers donated approximately $10.018 million in Bitcoin to the Trump-affiliated super PAC "MAGA Inc." This donation occurred 23 days after the CFTC announced its application to join Gemini in seeking to exempt certain terms of a 2025 ruling. Documents show that the committee sold the donated Bitcoin through Gemini. The CFTC stated that, under current enforcement standards, complaints against Gemini would not be filed, mentioning that Gemini itself is also a victim of fraud and changes in federal digital asset policy. Both parties have applied to the court to lift the permanent injunction, but the $5 million fine already paid by Gemini will not be refunded.

Bitcoin tore through the mid-$60,000s, cleared $70,000, blew past $75,000, and briefly touched $79,000+ before easing back to around $77,000 — a 20%+ move in a single week. The mood across crypto flipped almost overnight. But a violent rally is only the opening act. The more explosive the move, the more it calls for a clear, calm mind.
