CoinWorld reports:
Pi Network has recently seen an increase in on-chain activities. With the completion of Protocol 26.1 upgrade, continuous node updates, and the advancement of distributed computing tests, the market is beginning to pay attention to whether these infrastructure developments can further enhance ecosystem activity.
0.03 Pi High-Frequency Transfers Spark Discussion
According to Pi News, the blockchain explorer now displays token holdings and transaction activities, allowing users to visually observe the flow of funds within the ecosystem.
On-chain observer amrOnChain discovered that multiple addresses are continuously transferring a fixed amount of 0.03 Pi to the same receiving address, with related transactions occurring almost every few seconds. This pattern quickly sparked discussions within the community.
As of now, Pi Network has not provided a public explanation regarding this batch of repeated transfers.
Protocol 26.1 Completed
Pi Network co-founder Chengdiao Fan confirmed that the 26.1 version upgrade has been completed. Previously, the network had sequentially advanced through versions 19.1, 19.6, 19.9, 20.2, 21.2, 22.1, 23.0, 24.1, and 25.2, with the next step moving to 27.1.
This p26.1.0 node version update mainly includes upgrading Stellar Core to 26.1.0 and Horizon to 26.0.0. The official statement indicates that this process does not require data migration or re-importing, and node operators need to complete each phase across the network before proceeding with subsequent steps.
Node and Application Layer Continue to Expand
The Pi Core Team also released Node version 0.6.2, which includes improvements to SoloHost and connectivity. Meanwhile, a distributed computing experiment has also been completed.
In terms of the application layer, the number of applications running on the Pi mainnet has reached 82, getting closer to the target of 100 applications. This indicates that Pi's current focus remains on node availability and the expansion of ecosystem applications.
Token Price Remains Under Pressure
Despite the ongoing infrastructure updates, the performance of the Pi token remains weak. Reports cite analysts stating that Pi is currently priced at approximately $0.086, down about 5% over the past week, with the market yet to form a clear upward structure.
From the current situation, the transmission between infrastructure development and token demand remains to be observed. Whether the increase in on-chain activities will translate into stronger market performance still depends on subsequent application implementations and funding participation.
