The International Crypto Trading Cup (ICTC) by WhiteBIT promises to become a landmark event in the blockchain industry. With its unique format, concept, and scale, this tournament elevates crypto trading competitions to a whole new level. The founder and president of WhiteBIT Group, Volodymyr Nosov, shared his thoughts on what makes the championship stand out, its educational mission, and the opportunities for participants. “We set ourselves an ambitious goal — to set a new standard in the world of trading and hold the first-ever live-stream trading championship. Our ICTC is the first international tournament where world-class traders will compete. Along with them, fully-formed squads of 25 participants and individual traders will also take part online. Everyone will have the chance to follow the traders’ decisions in real time, observe their reactions, analyze strategies, and join the conversation via a general chat — asking questions, sharing insights, and engaging in live discussions,” comments Volodymyr Nosov. From the beginning, ICTC has been rooted in education. The championship kicked off with a qualifying stage, allowing participants to compete for a chance to become the eighth trader on the main stage. “Anyone interested had the opportunity to test their skills, gain unique experience, and learn something new even before the main competition stage,” added WhiteBIT Group President, Volodymyr Nosov. He also emphasized the tournament’s focus on professionalism, fairness, and transparency. “We’ve ensured continuous financial monitoring to track the traders’ actions in real-time: their screens, open positions, and market activities. After trades are completed, all transactions undergo mandatory validation to ensure compliance with the tournament’s rules and conditions,” Nosov noted. According to the rules, traders on the main stage will each start with a balance of 50,000 USDTB — an internal asset for futures trading on WhiteBIT. They will compete in the futures market, and the winner who demonstrates the most effective strategy during the tournament will receive all accumulated profits from the trades of the participants. Nosov is confident that crypto trading tournaments can evolve into global-scale events, comparable to eSports championships. “Crypto trading has all the necessary components for a spectacular format: strategy, emotions, and strong personalities with extraordinary stories. It has huge potential. These competitions can soon reach a level where traders become public figures, followed by millions who learn from them and support them as true stars,” he added. Reminder: ICTC starts on May 9 at 13:00 UTC.
