Uppsala Security Joins Cyber Threat Alliance CTA

Uppsala Security has become the first blockchain intelligence company to join the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA) as an affiliate member. The CTA is a non-profit collaboration established for cybersecurity companies to share threat information and respond collectively to cyber attacks. With Uppsala Security's membership, a new collaborative foundation has been established to connect cyber threat intelligence with blockchain-based on-chain intelligence. Recently, cybercrime has evolved from traditional attacks such as ransomware and phishing to the movement of funds through blockchain wallets and exchanges. Uppsala Security plans to collaborate with CTA members to share on-chain threat information, including malicious wallet activities and suspicious transaction patterns. Founder Patrick Kim stated that joining the CTA will help connect traditional cyber threat intelligence with on-chain data, allowing for a more accurate understanding of the flow of incidents. CTA President Michael Daniel praised Uppsala Security for providing unique threat intelligence, stating that the combination of different intelligence and analytical capabilities will enhance the value of information. Through this membership, Uppsala Security aims to strengthen its collaborative framework to analyze connections from the initial stages of cyber attacks to the movement of cryptocurrency funds.
