Uniswap's USDC·USDT Pool Claims Top Ethereum Trading Volume

Claims have been made that Uniswap's USDC·USDT pool has become the liquidity pool with the highest trading volume on Ethereum. However, independent trading volume data to support this claim has not been verified. According to CryptoBriefing, the pool reached the number one trading volume on Ethereum just five days after its launch on September 10, but Uniswap Labs' official announcement lacks overall pool rankings or cumulative trading volume figures. The StablePair Hook was launched on the Ethereum mainnet on September 10 and is introduced as a dynamic fee hook based on Uniswap v4. On the Ethereum mainnet, both the USDC·USDT pool and the USDC·USDG pool are operational, with their reference prices set at 1 USDC = 1 USDT and 1 USDC = 1 USDG, respectively. The StablePair Hook adjusts trading fees based on how much the pool price deviates from the reference price, changing fees to maintain a consistent buy-sell spread when prices are close to the reference price. Uniswap reported that the swap volume between stablecoins reached $43.4 billion in Q2 2026. However, the total trading volume of stablecoins and the trading volume of a specific pool are different metrics, and to assess the trading volume ranking of individual pools, one must consider the aggregation date, calculation method, and liquidity size. Currently, it is confirmed that the StablePair Hook is operational on the Ethereum mainnet and that the USDC·USDT pool is included in the official pool list. The claim that this pool is the highest trading volume pool on Ethereum remains unverified until independent trading volume data is released.
