In July 2026, Ukraine registered 5,496 new passenger cars, which is 2.9% more than in June but 15% less than in July of the previous year. Imported cars accounted for 97.2% of the total registrations, while vehicles assembled in Ukraine made up only 2.8%. The leader in the number of registrations was the Toyota brand with 958 cars, adding 331 registrations. The top five brands also include Skoda, Volkswagen, Renault, and BMW, which together control nearly half of the market. The hybrid segment reached 32.8% of the market with 1,805 registrations, approaching gasoline vehicles (38.5%). Electric vehicles registered 421 cars, with their share falling to 7.7% due to the end of tax incentives. The leading model was the Toyota RAV4 with 358 registrations, followed by the Skoda Kodiaq and Renault Duster. Experts note the brands' dependence on flagship models such as the Hyundai Tucson and Mazda CX-5. In the first half of the year, Ukraine's vehicle fleet was supplemented by 30,000 cars with diesel engines, which is 5% less than in the same period of 2025.
