The Wormhole team has announced a 1,000,000 W increase in its W Strategic Reserve.

BlockBeats News, November 6th, the Wormhole team announced that its W Strategic Reserve today increased its holdings by 1 million W, worth $59,000.

Previously, on September 30th, Wormhole announced the upcoming launch of the Wormhole Reserve as the strategic reserve of W, accumulating on-chain and off-chain protocol value to support the long-term development of the ecosystem. Wormhole 2.0 will introduce a 4% base staking yield and governance incentives. Users can enhance staking rewards through active participation in ecosystem applications, using Portal Earn, and other methods. This mechanism does not introduce additional inflation, and the total supply remains at 10 billion W. Starting from October 3, 2025, Wormhole will implement a new bi-weekly unlocking mechanism to replace the traditional annual unlocking cliff.
