SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci stated that Bitcoin's current bear market retracement of about 55% is lower than the historical declines of 75% to 80%, indicating that market support is still present. He believes that the shallower decline may suggest that there are still net buyers in the market, laying the groundwork for the next rally. Scaramucci pointed out at the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium that Bitcoin's recent price fluctuations have been limited, with an overall weak trend, as prices have continued to consolidate since February of this year. He attributes this to mining companies shifting resources towards AI businesses and capital flowing into the AI sector, which has affected the performance of Bitcoin and other tokens. He mentioned that the market has entered a typically weaker phase, with about 18 to 19 months until the next halving, and that the tightening of supply post-halving could drive prices upward. He anticipates that Bitcoin may have the opportunity to break above $100,000 in the future, but before that, prices may remain in a slow oscillation.
