Robinhood's Popular Meme Coins Only 41% of Wallets in Profit

On-chain data analyst obchakevich_ found that among the popular meme coins on Robinhood Crypto, only 41% of wallets are in profit. The analysis covered 373,000 unique wallets and 540,000 positions, with an additional 160,000 positions from random tokens across four launchpads. Among the popular meme coins, no group of wallets had a profit ratio exceeding 50%. Specifically, the profit ratio for the random token Noxa is 36.7%, Doppler is 33.2%, and Pons V1 is 14.7%. Typical meme buyers are down 1.7%, while typical buyers of the random Pons V1 token are down as much as 67%. Out of 355 random tokens held by 10 buyers, only 5 yielded profits for the majority of buyers, accounting for just 1.4%. Additionally, 2% of the issuance on Pons V2 entered the liquidity pool, with 36% of positions being positive. About one-third of positions with only one trade are profitable, while 59% of positions with 51 to 200 trades are positive. Positions with at least 11 trades account for 14%, contributing to 89% of realized profits, which amounts to $165 million out of $185 million. This statistic was generated using Dune queries, covering the period from June 1, 2026, to October 8, 2026, with a starting position of $10, identifying traders by token flow.
