BlockBeats News, January 15th, X Product Lead and Solana Ecosystem Advisor Nikita Bier stated, "We are revising our developer API policy: we will no longer allow those apps that reward users for posting on X (also known as 'InfoFi'). This mechanism has already caused a large amount of low-quality AI content and reply-based spam on the platform."

"We have revoked API access for these apps, so users' X experience will soon start to improve (once the bots realize posting no longer pays). If your developer account has been terminated as a result, please reach out to us proactively, and we will assist in transitioning your business to Threads and Bluesky."

Impacted by this news, KAITO dropped over 13% briefly, currently trading at $0.595.
