R3 Aims to Pivot to Solana-Based Tokenization and On-Chain Capital Markets

BlockBeats News, January 24th, according to CoinDesk, blockchain technology developer R3 announced its intention to reposition itself as a Solana-based tokenization and on-chain capital market company, focusing on high-yield institutional assets such as private credit and trade finance, packaging them into a DeFi-native structure designed to bring Wall Street-grade assets on-chain and move off-chain capital onto the on-chain market at scale.
It is reported that currently R3 has supported assets totaling over $100 billion through its Corda blockchain platform and has established partnerships with HSBC, Bank of America, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Swiss National Bank, European Central Bank, SDX, and SBI.
