Polkadot has recently delivered more code than Ethereum, despite the DOT price standing at $0.7912, just above the historical low of $0.7270. Polkadot ranks at the top of the developer activity chart, which is unusual for a network of this size. This activity may indicate future applications, although many commits do not automatically attract users. The market value of DOT is $1.34 billion, with a daily volume of $106 million, which is small compared to Ethereum. The ETH price rose nearly 13% to $2,336, partly due to a $122 million purchase of ETH by BlackRock clients. This highlights the difference between the networks: Ethereum attracts institutional money, while Polkadot primarily draws in developers. A 100x increase in DOT would require a market value of $134 billion, more than the current weekly trading value of Ethereum.
