BlockBeats News, December 1st, Into The Cryptoverse CEO Benjamin Cowen stated in a post that in 2019, the Federal Reserve announced that the quantitative tightening policy would end on August 1st. However, the Fed's balance sheet continued to shrink in August as the final round of Treasury bond settlements wasn't completed until mid-August.

Therefore, even though this round of quantitative tightening ended on December 1st, it does not mean that the balance sheet will immediately start to improve. It may not be until early 2026 that we see this change.
