Prefer us on GoogleOpenAI has officially hired Graham Simons from SpaceX to lead the sales for its cybersecurity business line. This is the latest instance of OpenAI poaching talent from Elon Musk's AI team. OpenAI is advancing its commercialization efforts, expanding its enterprise customer sales scale, and exploring new revenue sources such as advertising to pave the way for a potential IPO. Musk previously sued OpenAI, claiming its shift to a profit model contradicted its mission for public benefit, but ultimately lost the case. Musk subsequently founded the competing AI company xAI and completed a business merger with SpaceX.
