Nuva Launches Real Asset Product Using Chainlink Data Feed for Mortgage-Backed Loans

By: www.tokenpost.kr|2026/08/25 11:57:30

Nuva has applied the Chainlink (LINK) data feed to its real asset (RWA) product nvPRIME, which is based on mortgage loans. This application strengthens the data infrastructure for pricing U.S. mortgage credit on-chain and treating it as collateral. Chainlink announced on the 24th that Nuva has adopted Chainlink as its exclusive data infrastructure. nvPRIME is a short-term financial exposure product based on mortgages, including U.S. HELOCs. HELOCs allow homeowners to borrow against their home equity, with the key being the on-chain reflection of external appraisals and collateral data. Nuva describes the platform as a chain-neutral RWA marketplace, where users deposit USD Coin (USDC) to receive nvAsset tokens. nvPRIME holds PRIME tokens that are exposed to on-chain HELOCs, originated by Figure Technology Solutions and its partners. As of the 25th, nvPRIME's total value locked (TVL) is $5.49 million (approximately 760 million KRW), with a quoted price of $1.05. The number of holders is 93, and the net APY is 5.15%. This integration is in the initial operational infrastructure development stage, and RWA products must align pricing, collateral management, redemption, and distribution structures to grow in the market. The Chainlink integration focuses more on HELOCs and private credit than on real estate ownership transfers and vault distribution structures. The public response has been favorable, with Chainlink-related posts receiving around 41,000 views. However, no significant changes in LINK prices or Nuva's overall liquidity were observed immediately after the announcement.
