Long.xyz Founder Aims to Reduce Short-term PVP and Build a Long-term Asset System
Nate, the founder of Long.xyz, stated on X that the design goal of Long.xyz is to reduce the risk of asset failure caused by a single factor through continuous iteration. He pointed out that the crypto market lacks trust and long-term holding expectations, with many assets going to zero in a short period. Users wish to hold assets for the long term, but the market lacks platforms that provide such assets. Nate emphasized that Long.xyz needs to maintain a balance between liquidity and high multiple returns, where assets should possess meme attributes but cannot be purely memes. The development team should drive the project, but the community also needs to participate. Long.xyz plans to combine assets with RWA, U.S. stock catalysts, and AI. Despite the mainstream crypto asset crash impacting the ecosystem, it is still necessary to align with the crypto market cycle. In terms of ecological mechanisms, Long.xyz hopes to reduce short-term PVP between assets while retaining competition among different assets and routes. Nate stated that the overall idea of Long.xyz is to ensure asset survival, then act quickly and iterate continuously, finding a balance between tactical adjustments and long-term goals.
