「Largest ZEC Short Seller」 Takes Profit at $3M in ETH, Then Reverses to Roll Position, Continues to Add to ZEC and MON Short Positions
BlockBeats News, December 30th, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor data, a whale identified as the "Largest ZEC Short" partially took profit on an ETH short position last night, then rolled over the position to add back to it early in the morning, currently continuing to add to short positions in ETH, ZEC, MON, among others. It first reduced a 1008 ETH short position, realizing a profit of approximately $3.08 million. Subsequently, it rebuilt the position early in the morning, lowering the average cost of the ETH short to $3246. Its total ETH short position is currently around $132 million, with an unrealized gain of $14.23 million.
At the same time, the whale further added to its ZEC and MON short positions. Its total ZEC short position has reached $20.29 million, with an average price of $419, and an unrealized loss of about $4.48 million; the MON short position has reached $6.67 million, with an average price of $0.0304, and an unrealized gain of about $2.95 million. As of the time of writing, it is still actively adding to its positions.
Since initiating a ZEC short position in October, this address has been actively trading, having reduced the short position from $16.5 million to $9.1 million on December 17th and recently added to it again. Its total short position has increased from $113 million to $163 million, now holding the largest short positions in ETH, ZEC, and MON on the platform.
