KISA Reopens Recruitment for Blockchain Companies, Up to 6 Participants
The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) is reopening recruitment for domestic blockchain companies to support their entry into Singapore. The recruitment will be open until 2 PM on October 8, and will include up to 6 companies, focusing on blockchain-based financial service firms such as wallets, payments, and token securities. KISA has announced that it will support local entry into Singapore by 2026. The first recruitment closed on September 16, and the re-announcement was made on September 28. Eligible participants are small and medium-sized enterprises with blockchain technology or startups within 10 years of establishment. Selected companies will have the opportunity to set up in the Korean pavilion at the 'Singapore FinTech Festival 2026' in November, receiving approximately 7 square meters of exhibition space, along with support for diagnostic consulting, exhibition rental fees, and some living expenses. KISA will also provide corporate presentation (IR) consulting, pitching training, and education on local investment trends, with living expenses of up to 2.5 million KRW provided for one person per company. Participants must be at the C-Level or above and must be able to communicate in English. The selection results will be individually notified starting from October 14.
