JPMorgan Predicts 10% Annualized Return for Bitcoin and Includes It in 2027 Capital Market Assumptions
JPMorgan Asset Management has included Bitcoin in its long-term capital market assumptions for 2027, forecasting a benchmark compound annual return of 10% over the next decade, with an annualized volatility of 55%. This expected return rate is higher than all other asset classes, and the correlation of Bitcoin with U.S. large-cap stocks is estimated to be only 33%. Despite Bitcoin's characteristics of high absolute returns and low correlation, JPMorgan remains cautious about its unstable correlation and has not included Bitcoin in its main covariance matrix. While institutional acceptance is rising, the role of Bitcoin in investment portfolios remains uncertain.
