Former MiniMax Technical Partner Yang Bin Raises $6 Million to Launch Voice AI Company

Former MiniMax technical partner Yang Bin has founded a voice AI company called BreezeBlue, which has completed a $6 million seed round of financing, led jointly by Yuanjing Capital and Redpoint China. The team currently consists of about 15 members, focusing on real-time voice interaction, with their latest model being Breeze TTS 2. Yang Bin previously managed MiniMax's image and video generation models and is now shifting his entrepreneurial focus to sound. He believes that as AI agents take on increasingly complex tasks, it becomes difficult for people to continuously monitor screens. Voice can enable agents to proactively report and confirm issues while working, allowing for timely human intervention and correction.
