Do Kwon: Sentencing for Involvement in TerraUSD Stablecoin Collapse Fraud Should Not Exceed Five Years

BlockBeats News, November 27th, according to Bloomberg, Terraform Labs Pte. co-founder Do Kwon stated that he should not be sentenced to more than five years in the U.S. for his involvement in the 2022 $40 billion TerraUSD stablecoin collapse-related fraud case.
Kwon pleaded guilty in August to conspiracy and wire fraud charges, thus avoiding a trial. He was previously arrested in Montenegro and convicted of using a fake passport as a fugitive from South Korean charges, before being extradited to the United States.
