Diesel Fuel Imports to Ukraine Reach Two-Year High
In August 2026, Ukraine imported diesel fuel from 164 companies, marking the highest level in nearly two years. This is an increase of 30 companies compared to July and 20 more than in August 2025. 76% of the supplies came from the 10 largest market players. The leader remained OKKO with supplies of nearly 89,000 tons, up 47% year-on-year. Second place went to Ukrnafta with 77,000 tons, which is 2.4 times more than a year earlier. Third place was shared by Energo Trade and UPG with 55,600 tons and 55,400 tons, respectively. UPG resumed deliveries via tankers from Poland, bringing in 2,000 tons. WOG increased its annual supply volume by 46%. ZTEK imported 39,000 tons, which is 2.2 times more than last year. Paid imported over 32,000 tons, while BRSN-Oil brought in 25,000 tons. Martin Trade reduced its supply volume by 41% to 17,000 tons. Analysts note that August became a month of active restructuring of diesel fuel imports, with an increase in the number of importers and concentration among major players. In August 2026, Ukraine reduced diesel fuel imports by 10% compared to last year, to 588,000 tons, with supplies from Poland increasing by 42%.
